Applications for the 2025 grants are now open.
How do I apply?
- Recording of How to apply for a SEDA small grant – held on 26th November 2020 (an updated version will be available shortly)
- Proposals must be submitted to office@seda.ac.uk using the downloaded SEDA Small Grants application form by the deadline of 12 noon on Monday 24th February 2025.
- We will acknowledge receipt of all applications. If you do not receive an email acknowledgement then assume that your application has not been received and follow this up with the SEDA office.
What is the timetable?
- There will be a SEDA Grant Holders Showcase event on Friday 10th January 2025, 10.00 – 11.30.

This will be a forum for the 2023 Small Grant holders to present a synopsis of their project to the SEDA community in our first online SEDA Small Grants Showcase
- There will also be a Small Grants Talk Shop on Friday 17th January 2025, 12.30-13.30.

This will be an interactive opportunity for applicants to ask questions of SEDA’s Scholarship and Research Committee. If you have any particular questions then it would be very helpful if you could email them to the SEDA Office (office@seda.ac.uk) in advance.
- Proposals must be received by the SEDA office by 12 noon on Monday 24th February 2025
- All applicants will be notified of the results by 30th April 2025
- Projects are expected to complete by 31st August 2026
