Susan Mathieson is Director of Learning and Teaching at Northumbria University, UK, where she leads the University’s Higher Education Academy (HEA) accredited professional recognition scheme. She holds a PhD in Educational Research from Lancaster University, and is a Senior Fellow of the HEA.
